Sometime back, I watched a beautiful show “Kill Me,Heal Me”, and I was totally head over heels in love with that show.
I still am! I especially loved the main leads, and one particular alter of Ji Sung, whose name was Shin Se-Gi.
Those who have watched this show can relate to the craze Shin Se-Gi had, and how amazing Ji Sung was in that show. So, I was looking for some show in which I could find a character as brazen and crazy as Shin Se-Gi was, and how he was eventually “tamed down.”And that was how I ended up finding a show with my beautiful Ji Sung Oppa, and my sweetheart Hwang Jung-Eum.
Its name is #Secret, sometimes referred as “Secret Love.”My God!!!!
What a gripping story! Everything from writing to acting to direction to cinematography- BEYOND PERFECT!!! 👌👌

So the hero is Min-Hyeuk (Ji Sung)…and he’s an asshole…a world class jackass…and this is the truth. No filters!😁 Shin Se-Gi phir bhi kabhi kabhi reasonable hota tha in KMHM, but Min- Hyeuk here is a complete floozy. 🤭 But but but…
You’ll end up falling in love with him eventually as the story progresses. Heroine is Yo-jong(Hwang Jung-Eum). She is a naive, simple, golden hearted girl who can do anything for Love.
The villain is a classic good boy-turning-evil-due-to-majboori-e-haalat-and-personal-selfishness-and-greed.The side characters are good.Sab se khaas baat yeh hai that nobody is perfect in this show…
nobody is completely evil…nobody is completely wrong.
No matter how much you hate what happens with the heroine and how Min-Hyeuk starts off with his crazy hatred and anger, and how he brings her down for the sake of misplaced revenge , you will still feel something soft for both of them. The heroine makes a classic mistake in her life, but I was still able to sympathize and empathize with her. She made me fall in love with her and with Min-hyeuk also. She is that sort of a person who can literally make others having even an iota of decent potentials within them,become better people. 👏
Such strong characterization, and what an amazingly portrayed journey from intense hatred to selfless love- This show is definitely a MUST WATCH!!!! It’s a mature story, not a rom-com. So don’t expect puppy love and cutesy things. Although Ji-Sung’s antics sometimes would make you smile. 😊😊The OST is super amazing.
Sometimes, it will bring a smile to your face, and sometimes it will make you cry. You will end up having it on your loop for a long time, that’s for sure!! I can go on and on about it, but I might end up revealing too much. It’s on Dramacool and you may also find it on Viki Rakuten.
